On March 24th, the American Friends of RU hosted RUNI Ventures for a power breakfast. Romi Oppenheim and Tomer Golan introduced the VC and 5 CEO/founders from the VC's portfolio. The founders introduced themselves and their mission in creating their companies. Thank you Yaron Klainer - imgn , Lee Sharir-Dolev - Relyonai , Shai Bargil - Sequent Tech,

Guy Gadnir - Journeyz , and Yariv Lissauer - Canotera for your presentations. It was a morning filled with meaningful conversations, fresh perspectives, and a shared passion for innovation for our supporters and alumni.

Dear Friends, Parents, and Alumni,

Hope this finds you well.

Our students returned to campus this week for the spring semester after a busy break of study tours and rest after exams.

For those in Israel during Passover, please see the invitations below to the Pesach luncheon and the Raphael Recanati International School open house on Tuesday, April 15th.

I would like to thank our donors for supporting our scholarship programs, fellowships, Jewish Life and social activities. Your partnership enables a vibrant campus of academia and discovery!

Our thoughts remain with the reservists on all fronts, and we are committed to ensuring that no one is left behind.

Please enjoy our newsletter below.

Best,

Hey everyone! My name is Rinat Tzubeli, I'm a 3rd-year student at the Sammy Ofer School

of Communication at Reichman University, and I moved to Israel from Florida, USA.

I moved to Israel six years ago and now live in Tel Aviv. I first came here at 18, and since then, I never wanted to leave. Israel became home. My family is still in the U.S., and it’s not always easy, but I get to see them more than once or twice a year, and that’s my biggest blessing.

When I visited the Raphael Recanati International School for the first time, what won me over was the atmosphere on the Reichman University campus. It was more than just classes and studies – it was something alive, dynamic, and full of possibilities. I had no doubts at all. After finishing my military service, I realized my heart was already in love with Israel. I had no interest in studying at an American university – the chance to study in English in a country I love just felt right.

In the army, I served as a commander of new recruits in Magal. It was a meaningful experience that empowered me, and I learned more there than I ever imagined. I would do it again and again without thinking twice.

Living here in such a time is not easy. There are reminders everywhere of how much our lives have changed, but alongside the pain, it has also strengthened my understanding of how strong we are as a people. I have no thoughts of returning to the U.S. – I’m here to stay.

During my degree, I volunteered with the student association and was part of the Reichman Ambassadors Club, experiences that gave me so much.

My message to all the students serving in reserves duty:

The university is behind you. You’re doing an amazing job. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
