Reichman University Honors Noa Tishby With Honorary Doctorate

In a testament to her unwavering commitment to combating the resurgent plague of antisemitism, Reichman University will bestow an honorary doctorate upon Noa Tishby.

Tishby, an Israeli actress, producer, and author, independently carries on her advocacy work, using her public platform to speak out against rising global anti-Semitism.

Reichman University will grant Tishby an honorary doctorate as a symbol of her Israeli courage. The award ceremony will be held next month, and Tishby will attend in Israel. Along with Tishby, other individuals who have stood out for their contribution to the State since October 7th will also be awarded this prestigious honor from the university; among them are Colonel Karni Gaz, Eyal Nave, Hayim Yalin, and Lieutenant Colonel Israel Shomer.

Dear Friends, Supporters, Parents, and Alumni,

This was a very busy month spent traveling with our new President, Boaz Ganor, and Vice President, Jonathan Davis, here in the US. We introduced Prof. Ganor to many of our supporters in NYC and LA and he was well received amongst all of our friends. A short trip to Phoenix, Arizona, for the first time, enabled us to meet new like-minded people and we are looking forward to visiting again. Prof. Ganor shared the challenges the university has faced since the October 7th tragedy and his vision for the future.

Our close-knit community has been so supportive of our mission. The goal of these trips is always to increase our network and get the word out about Reichman University. It is of great importance, with the current situations on US campuses, that all young Jewish students understand what a great option our university is.

Reichman University is a safe haven of Zionism and world class education.

On the Eve of Israel’s Memorial Day

The eve of Israel Memorial Day for the Fallen is a time to reflect on the bravery and sacrifice of those that served and paid the ultimate price. Their dedication to the country is a testament to their courage and bravery. At Reichman University we mourn the nine students that have been murdered and fallen in the Swords of Iron War, and we pray for the safe return of Idan Shtivi, held hostage by Hamas. The day after Memorial Day, we will observe Independence Day. In regular times, it is a joyous celebration. This year, let us focus on the resilience of our country and the valiant young generation of warriors, including so many of our students who lay down on the barbed wire to protect our country.

Independence Day is an opportune moment to answer our adversaries around the world with a resounding vote of confidence in our country. We stand united, resolute, and unwavering in our determination to safeguard the hard-won independence and sovereignty of the State of Israel. The sacrifices made by our Fallen soldiers and the continued vigilance of our brave men and women in uniform have ensured that the flame of freedom burns brightly in our nation.
