We are honored to share the basketball court on campus that was renovated in memory of the late Liam Shrem, who was a student at the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship and the Arison School of Business and was murdered on October 7, 2023. Liam founded the Splash Project with the aim of upgrading the urban space by painting sports fields in collaboration with local artists. His mother, Simona Shrem, says:

"We made Liam's dream come true, a sports field at Reichman University. On the first day of his studies, Liam approached Ilan Kowalsky (RU's athletic director) and asked to renovate the basketball court on campus as part of his project 'Splash.' Liam’s dream was to work on the court together with the artist Nir Peled, and we realized this dream by creating this court. I want to say a big thank you from the bottom of my heart to the university and the people who help and support us, and allow us to continue Liam's legacy. Special thanks to Prof. Uriel Reichman, who enabled me to realize Liam’s dreams in the place that was most important to him during the last two and a half years of his life."
