November News and Updates From AFRU

Dear Friends,

Please enjoy our November newsletter below. I would like to highlight two major announcements. The Dina Recanati School of Medicine has been approved! This is another major milestone in the history of our beloved University and once again brings us to the next stage of Professor Reichman’s vision to change Israeli academia. I would like to congratulate the entire team in Israel for their dedication and perseverance in bringing this momentous achievement to life.

Additionally, after a long wait, our office is now officially American Friends of Reichman University. I would like to thank my AFORU board member, Lauren Cramer, Partner at McLaughlin Stern, for her hard work in getting this accomplished for our organization.

The 2024-2025 Academic year has begun and 800 new students were welcomed to the Reichman University campus. The Ethel & Leonard Tigay Orientation Week was a huge success and we wish the entire student body, faculty, management and staff a successful year.

Our team has been busy traveling all over the US and working hard to keep up our momentum of this year's increased enrollment. Please see below for our upcoming virtual information session this Sunday, November 17th with Jonathan Davis. Come see us in-person next week at 4 Israeli Consulate University Fairs in San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Houston.

All the best,

Leslie
