RUNI Ventures Named Most Active VC in Israel

Hello everyone, my name is Hila Rom and I am the co-founder and CEO of RUNI Ventures- the venture capital fund of Reichman University. The fund is a pre-seed fund that invests in exceptional entrepreneurs, providing them with both the first investment in the venture and an exclusive set of resources, support, and networking that will help them build the next generation of Israel's tech companies. It is no secret that we established the fund during one of the most difficult years in the State of Israel, and we had to deal with many challenges during its recruitment and construction. At the same time, we have managed to bring in leading first-class investors in Israel and around the world who share our full trust in Israel's entrepreneurs, who the past year have proven to be second to none in innovation, creativity, determination, and resilience! Today, less than two years after the foundation of the fund, and after a year of reserve duty by a significant part of the team and entrepreneurs, I am proud to share that we have been ranked by KPMG and IVC as one of the active funds in Israel for 2024, and this week we made the investment in the 10th portfolio company. As someone who has over 20 years of management and entrepreneurship behind it, I have no doubt that we are facing a period of tremendous prosperity of innovation and developments that will create a global impact in many industries, and this is a wonderful time to invest in Israeli high-tech and strengthen its position as the engine of the economy. The fund's activities are led by two talented alumni: Tomer Golan, Director of Supply and Operations, and Romi Oppenheim, Director of Value Creation, who work day and night to locate, support, and accompany the entrepreneurs in whom we invest, and we are always happy to get to know, advise and assist each founder.
