About the event

COL (Ret.) Miri Eisin, the Managing Director of the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism, brings over two decades of military experience, retiring as a full colonel in 2004. Her military roles included deputy head of the combat intelligence corps, personal assistant to the director of Military intelligence, and intelligence officer in combat units and research departments.

Post-military service, COL (Ret.) Eisin served as the Israeli Prime Minister’s international media advisor until the end of 2007. In the last decade, she has become a prominent global presenter on regional geopolitics and security, teaching at Reichman University and collaborating extensively with media, student groups, and diplomats. She is also a fellow at the Center for International Communication at Bar Ilan University.

COL (Ret.) Eisin holds a BA from Tel Aviv University, an MA from Haifa University, and is a graduate of the Israeli national defense college. Her expertise spans the Israeli intelligence community, Middle Eastern security and geopolitics, media's role in security and warfare, Middle Eastern media perspectives, and the Israeli–Palestinian conflict.
